Why give?
Make a Difference
To the individual wildland firefighters and their families every contribution matters and can make the difference between a catastrophic setback or an imminent comeback. In the cases where a return is not an option your contribution can offset the initial impact of untoward hardship.
Be Part of the Solution
We take care of each other. By contributing to the WYS Welfare Fund, you enable a true grassroots approach to supporting our friends and families. Your agency gives us the resources to step up and take immediate initiative to help those in our community in need.
Inspire Others
Your generosity can motivate friends, family, and colleagues to do the same.
